We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Trekking 4 Trisomy benefit 5K Run/Walk!!! Join us as we seek to bring awareness and raise funds for research and advocacy for families dealing with the difficult diagnosis of Trisomy 18. We are working hard to plan a special day to honor the precious children and families who have been touched by Trisomy 18. Help us as we seek to come alongside and encourage those who are in the midst of this battle.
Trisomy 18 is a life-threatening genetic condition that results in an extra chromosome #18. This occurs in approximately 1 in every 6,000 newborns and of those who survive birth only 5-10% live to celebrate their first birthday.
Trekking 4 Trisomy is the vision of two mamas seeking to honor God and their beautiful daughters, Hannah Faith and Hope Caroline, who were diagnosed with Trisomy 18 during pregnancy. While both of these precious girls have gone to be with the Lord, our families feel privileged to support and encourage others dealing with this diagnosis.
We look forward to seeing each of you and appreciate your support of this event!
